Yoga stretching with the aide of a chair allows almost anyone to join in to a gentle form of movement. Poses are done seated in,  or holding onto a chair for support.

Yoga works the joints and muscles to increase strength, flexibility, circulation , and balance. This class goes beyond typical exercises in that it encourages quiet reflection, proper breathing, and better posture. This is a great class for senior citizens and/or those with limited mobility.

Yoga Evolve is an intermediate level class designed to further develop your balance, improve flexibility and build strength, particularly throughout your upper body and core.

The class environment is fun and relaxed as students "evolve" their yoga practice, transitioning into more challenging poses.  Once a particular pose is accessible then the student progresses to increasingly more subtle explorations of the pose, and so the journey goes ever inward.

Learn the ancient art of Belly Dancing with women of all ages.  This dance is a fun way of exploring the sensuality and strength of womanhood while toning and tightening our bodies.

An aerobic workout that focuses on strengthening leg, arm, back and core muscles. Share the companionship while shaking and shimmying your way into shape!

Margaret Bunkoff "Mandisa" has studied and performed with top dancers of the Capital District while taking advanced workshops with top performers in the Middle East.

Join us for weekly meditation classes and learn techniques for stress relief and relaxation in a warmly supportive environment.

Opportunities for guided and silent meditation using a variety of meditation styles will be offered.

First Monday of each month is a special session of Yoga Nidra, a systematic method of guided meditation practice designed to induce complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation.  Previous meditation experience is not required. Chairs and cushions will be available for sitting.

Qigong is a moving meditation that brings together breath work, graceful movement and focused intention to harness the vital life force within and around us.

This practice increases blood flow, stimulates digestion/elimination, bolsters immunity, develops physical strength, enhances mental concentration and provides a calming effect. Feel energized and peaceful at once.

Reiki practitioners sometimes refer to this practice as “reiki aerobics” as ones electromagnetic field becomes strongly palpable.

All ages and abilities are welcome!

Yoga Nidra * The Meditative Heart of Yoga *

Traditional forms of meditation invite us to open up and explore what is within us. Yoga Nidra invites us to empty ourselves of what no longer serves us. First we learn to recognize what is within, and then we sort out what we wish to keep and that which we wish to release. Guided imagery, sitting meditation, (this is a non movement form of yoga). Chairs are available.
